Brentford FC

Brentford Football Club applied for planning permission for a new stadium at a site known as Lionel Road in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. In order to support their planning application, a number of interview surveys were commissioned to ascertain the travel and parking habits of the club’s supporters.

Conducted over three different days in 2013, up to 20 staff were assembled to conduct interviews around the perimeter of the Griffin Park Stadium.

Despite the heavy rain on the first day of the survey, our staff managed excellent response rates, comfortably exceeding our target number of responses on all days.

Data was presented to the deadline in Excel format as requested.

Planning permission was granted by Hounslow Council on the 5th of December 2013 and by the Mayor of London on the 18th of February 2014.

Footmark Surveys is an independent data collection company, and therefore has no bias either way on the granting of planning permission, but we are proud of the work we did to facilitate the interested parties in coming to a decision. The enthusiastic and friendly Brentford FC fans helped make this one of the most enjoyable surveys of the year.
